Restaurant

The restaurant, situated in the restored Manor House, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner inspired by abundant local produce and fresh ingredients.

Guests are invited to start their day with a scrumptious hot breakfast or fresh continental buffet with local produce, homemade breads, freshly baked muffins and pastries. The breakfast menu also offers a selection of cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruit, homemade muesli, yoghurt and freshly squeezed fruit juice.

Lunch is a light, poolside menu with fresh salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, delicious cakes and dessert.

The seasonal dinner menu changes on a regular basis and incorporates the best ingredients that the region has to offer.

Breakfast and lunch served daily.
Dinner served Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (a-la-carte) from 19:00- 22:00

Pool

The hotel’s crowning glory, and arguably the most enjoyable whale watching site, is the magnificent
18 x 4 metre infinity pool. Just a stone's throw away from the sea, the pool enjoys prime position at the front of the hotel, offering uninterrupted views of the sea through glass wall surrounds and modern, sophisticated finishes.

The Pavilion

Our beautiful new Pavilion provides a relaxed outdoor dining area with long wooden tables, local wine barrels and a traditional vintage wine press. Guests can enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner with a view of the harbour and the gentle sound of the water fountain in the background.

Lookout Terrace

The magnificent Lookout Terrace is arguably the best spot in Hermanus to enjoy whale watching. Guests are invited to sit and enjoy sundowners and cocktail snacks with sweeping views of Walker Bay.

Wine Bar

The Wine Bar offers beer sourced from the Birkenhead Brewery in Standford, bottled craft beer and the award-winning wines so commonly associated with the lush vineyards of the Overberg region. The natural flow out of the bar to the Pavillion, Lookout Terrace and dazzling infinity pool ensures a sundowner experience second to none.

Braai (BBQ)

We offer a spacious outdoor braai (barbeque) facility where guests can sit and enjoy the spectacular views over the ocean from under our magic tree. An experience that you will not forget.
We have a choice of selfbraai or serviced gourmet braais available at an additional cost.

Guests can choose to use the facilities themselves, or allow us to cater, providing a gourmet braai experience.   
Bookings is are essential and must  be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

Bicycle rentals

Explore Hermanus at your own pace with a leisurely cycle through the Historical Village. This is the bike to be seen on! Ask at reception for price and availability.

Mint Wellness Salon

The salon is situated in the New Wing of the hotel where treatments are performed by internationally qualified therapists who offer an array of treatments including massages, facials, manicures & pedicures.

Located in the New Wing, we offer a business centre equipped with guest computer and printer.

Internet

Guest can make use of the computer in the Business Centre with complimentary internet , alternatively a network point with complimentary internet is available at reception.

Internet speed is adequate for downloading e-mails, internet banking and social networking (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, blogging, etc.)

Slow internet speeds may occur when downloading multi-media files or using Skype.

We strive to provide our guests with a quality service, however by international standard, the internet in South Africa is unfortunately not as fast.

Parking

There are 15 enclosed and numbered parking bays below the hotel and 9 reserved off-street parkings are available in front of the reception and new wing area, both options at an additional cost Should you wish to secure your numbered parking bay, please pre-book prior to arrival.

Managed public parking is also available within walkin distance of the hotel.
